The St. Andrew´s Church is without any doubt the most important sight in Kolovraty. The church is located by the main road (Mírová street) towards the south-eastern end of the village.
A small Roman church had been founded in Kolovraty before 1250 by the Ostrov monastery. In early 14th century a Gothic single-aisle church was built at the current location, both the church and the rectory were first mentioned in 1352. Remains of its choir with the cross vault can be located on the ground floor of the Baroque belfry today. Lancet Gothic portal with profiled lining used to connect the choir with the already non-existent sacristy. The local parish also served the neighbouring village of Nedvězí.
